MEETING AGENDA
The New Jersey Law Revision Commission is continuing to comply with changes to New Jersey’s Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act, Executive Orders issued by the Governor of the State of New Jersey, and recommendations issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding “social distancing.”
As a result, the December meeting of the New Jersey Law Revision Commission will be conducted remotely on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.

Towing Act - Consideration of a Draft Final Report proposing modifications to clarify that a litigant need not exhaust administrative remedies before initiating legal proceedings against a towing company pursuant to N.J.S. 56:13-21 as discussed in Pisack v. B & C Towing, Inc., 455 N.J. Super. 225 (App. Div. 2018). Report
2. Kidnapping - Consideration of a Draft Final Report proposing modifications to the “unharmed release” provision of New Jersey’s kidnapping statute, N.J.S. 2C:13-1(c)(1), as discussed in State v. Local Government Ethics - Consideration of a Memorandum proposing a project to clarify the standard by which an individual may be found to have violated the Local Government Ethics Laws, specifically N.J.S. 40A:9-22.5(c), as discussed in Mondsini v.
