1. Juvenile Sex Offender Lifetime Registration – Consideration of a Draft Final Report recommending modifications to N.J.S. 2C:7-2 clarifying that lifetime registration and notification obligations are unconstitutional as applied to juvenile sex offenders, as held by the New Jersey Supreme Court in State in Interest of C.K., 233 N.J. 44 (2018).  Report 

2.  Use of Gendered Terms Related to Married Individuals in New Jersey Statutes – Consideration of a Revised Draft Tentative Report proposing modifications to New Jersey statutes, including the adult adoption statute at N.J.S. 2A:22-1, to replace gendered terms referring to married couples with gender-neutral terms.  Report

3. Title 18A and Title 26: Updating Terms Related to Epinephrine Administration and Nurses – Consideration of a Draft Tentative Report proposing modifications to New Jersey statutes to (1) remove language that specifies the method of administering epinephrine and (2) update the title of health care providers who are authorized to provide certain types of medical care in a school setting.  Report

4. Title 18A: Special Education - Incorrect References in Statute – Consideration of a Memorandum  recommending a project to address two issues in Title 18A: (1) whether modifications are needed to replace the incorrect reference to N.J.A.C. 6:28-1.1 et seq. with the correct reference to N.J.A.C. 6A:14-1 et seq.; and (2) whether N.J.S. 18A:46-8 and N.J.S. 18A:46-19 should be amended to replace the term "speech correctionist" with the  updated term "speech-language specialist."  Memo  

5.  Constitutionality of Dependency Requirement in New Jersey Pension Statutes – Consideration of a Memorandum proposing a project to address the constitutionality of pension statutes that impose a dependency requirement on widowers, but not widows, to receive pension benefits, in light of the holdings in Califano v. Goldfarb, 430 U.S. 199 (1977) and Tomarchio v. Greenwich Township, 75 N.J. 62 (1977), which struck down similar provisions as unconstitutional.  Memo

6. Municipal Vacancy Law – Consideration of an Update Memorandum regarding the Municipal Vacancy Law and the impact of the decision in Linden Democratic Committee v. City of Linden, 251 N.J. 415 (2022).  Memo
